There is two type of Forklift Licence for which you can apply:
1. Forklift Licence LF Type
2. Forklift Licence LO Type
Forklift LF Licence is used to operate Forklift with a pair of fork arms whereas LO type licence is used to operate order picking truck platform.
How to Get a Forklift Licence in NSW?
In order to get a Forklift Licence in NSW you have to complete the NSW WorkCover Requirements. These are:
1. The age of operator should be 18 or more
2. Can speak, write and understand English in order to carry out instructions.
3. Can be able to produce 100 points of evidence on identification form.
4. Search out for a nearby RTO and get enrolled under Forklift Training Course
5. The training organisation will conduct learning classes and assessment for the candidate.
6. After passing the assessment, apply for the Forklift Licence with WorkCover NSW.
What is the price of Forklift Training Course?
The price of the Forklift Training Course depends on the type of the course as well on the RTO. It ranges from AUD 100 to AUD 700. At Workplace Training Centre, the course will cost you AUD 500. For obtaining a licence, you have to submit NSW SafeWork Licence fee at authorised post office with your passport sized photos.
