How To Get EWP Licence In Sydney


Boom Type EWP Course deals with all the basic knowledge that is required in order to acquire a licence for Boom Elevated Work Platform. In order to operate EWP in Australia it is necessary that a person holds this EWP licence which is only possible if that person is successful in completing this Boom Type EWP Course. An important information to be kwept in mind is that this course is not applicable for operating vertical or scissor lift types. In order to operate such lifts another licence (a Yellow Card Trained Operator Licence) is required. The total duration of this course is just 3 days. For the first 2 days training is provided and the third day is for conducting Safe Work NSW assessment.

This course costs $720.00. The cost of all the materials and NSW assessment is all inclusive in this fee itself. If extra Safe Work NSW assessment is to be performed then an extra charge of $150 is added to the course fee. In the next step once the applicant applies for the documents at NSW authorised post office, $70.50 is charged as the application fee for Safe Work NSW Licence. A passport size photograph is also one of the requirements for the licence. Eligibility criteria for this course is as follows ➤The minimum age of the candidate must be 18 years. ➤he must hold the citizenship of australia. ➤he must be fluent in speaking English and should be able to comprehend it. ➤he must be physically fit.
